The Diesel Fuel Oil Group (DFOG) is a forum of nuclear power plant and industry diesel fuel representatives formed for the exchange of technical information and proactive resolution of issues relating to the procurement, storage, and use of diesel fuel in emergency diesel generators (EDGs) at nuclear power plants.
The DFOG has as its primary goal increasing the quality and reliability of diesel fuel for use in EDGs. The DFOG was established to identify, evaluate, and resolve generic procurement, acceptance testing, storage, and monitoring issues related to diesel fuel for the nuclear industry. The DFOG is a voluntary, unincorporated association. It assumes no financial, technical, licensing, or legal responsibility for, and has no power to bind, the Member companies.
